Overview

The Connekt World 1M Smart Virtual Switch is a software-defined control module with no physical wiring connections. Instead of switching electrical loads directly, it sends configurable action codes to the Connekt system, allowing users to define custom behavior entirely through the app.

As part of the Connekt Virtual Line, the virtual switch enables flexible control of physical devices such as smart switches, sockets, smart boards, RGB diffusers, and other system components. A single virtual switch can control one or many targets, with fully customizable logic.

From the front, the virtual switch looks identical to physical switch modules and features a spring-return single-press surface with an integrated RGB status indicator, ensuring a uniform and consistent appearance across installations.

Dynamical Device Control

Connekt’s Dynamical Device Control system allows virtual and physical devices to interact through logical links rather than fixed wiring. Each link is defined by a source action and a target action, enabling complex behavior without changing hardware.

Local Dynamical Device Control

On supported smart frames, all configured logic continues to function even during internet outages. As long as Wi-Fi and the local network remain operational, devices communicate directly over LAN using Local Dynamical Device Control.

Once programmed in the app, the system can operate fully off-grid without cloud connectivity.

Linking Pairing Mode

For fast and intuitive setup, Connekt offers a Linking Pairing Mode that can be enabled account-wide in the app. When active, all smart frames enter pairing mode simultaneously.

• Press the touch button above the virtual switch to select it as the source
• RGB LEDs on diffusers above and below linked modules turn green to indicate active links
• Press the touch button above any compatible module to link it
• Pressing an already linked module unlinks it

This allows quick visual confirmation and modification of links directly at the installation site, without navigating menus in the app.

Flexible Logic Examples

Links can also be created and customized entirely in the app. For example:

• Pressing the virtual switch turns a physical socket ON
• Releasing the switch turns the socket OFF
• The touch button above the switch starts a 10-second timer that toggles the socket state

RGB Status Indicator

The integrated RGB LED provides visual feedback for switch state and linked logic.

• Default colors: green for ON, red for OFF
