Overview

The Connekt World 1M Smart Virtual Switch – DoublePress expands the capabilities of the virtual control system by adding directional input actions while maintaining a fully wiring-free design. Like all virtual switches, it does not control electrical loads directly, but instead generates software-defined actions that can be linked to any compatible Connekt device.

The switch features a spring-return mechanism with a central resting position and can be pressed both upward and downward. Each direction generates a distinct action, allowing a single module to control multiple devices or functions with clear intent.

From the front, the switch matches the appearance of physical double-press switches and includes a central RGB status indicator for visual feedback, ensuring visual consistency across virtual and physical installations.

Available Actions

The DoublePress virtual switch provides a richer set of input actions than its SinglePress counterpart:

• Press Up: triggered when the switch is pressed upward
• Press Down: triggered when the switch is pressed downward
• Release: triggered when the switch returns to its center position
• Touch Button Timer: triggered by the touch button above the switch

Dynamical Device Control

Using Dynamical Device Control, each action can be independently mapped to one or more target actions across the system. This allows complex interaction patterns without physical rewiring.

• One action can control multiple targets
• Different actions can control different devices
• Physical and virtual targets can be mixed freely

Local Dynamical Device Control

On supported smart frames, all configured logic continues to operate locally during internet outages. Once programmed, the switch communicates with other devices over the local network as long as Wi-Fi remains available.

Linking Pairing Mode

For rapid configuration, the Linking Pairing Mode can be enabled account-wide in the app, placing all smart frames into pairing mode simultaneously.

• Select the virtual switch by pressing the touch button above it
• Linked modules are highlighted by green RGB LEDs on surrounding diffusers
• Press the touch button above another module to link it
• Pressing an already linked module removes the link

More advanced logic, including action-specific behavior, can be defined directly in the app.
